    Portable Appliance Test Course is a comprehensive, one day course designed to give delegates the knowledge, skills and confidence to conduct testing of portable electrical appliances.

    INTENDED FOR:

    Line Managers, Supervisors and Individuals involved in performing Portable Appliance Testing.

    AIMS / OBJECTIVES:

    Course is designed for staff members who are appointed as Manager, Supervisors and Workers for inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances. Delegates will learn the basic concept of PAT requirements for their premises.

    • Understand current legislation regarding confined space entry
    • Recognizing types of confined spaces and their associated hazards
    • Testing and monitoring the atmosphere
    • Implement control measures to eliminate or reduce potential risk
    • The safe use and maintenance of working breathing apparatus (BA)
